Kennedys announces another record year as revenue increases 17% to surpass £380m

We have reported a record revenue of £384m (USD 483m / AUD 736m / EUR 446m) for financial year 2023/24 (FY24), a 17% increase on the previous financial year and the tenth consecutive year of revenue growth.

North America saw the most significant growth, with revenue of £94m (USD 119m / AUD 181m / EUR 110m), up 22%. This follows ongoing strategic expansion of the firm’s US offering, with lateral hiring to build bench strength in key practice areas. UK revenue increased by 18%, APAC by 12%, EMEA by 14% and LATAM by 2%.

Growth has been underpinned by a 12% increase in the number of fee-earners worldwide, with total headcount now over 2,750. This includes 19 partner hires, as well as 17 promotions in the firm’s annual round of partner promotions in May. Lateral hires included a nine strong team in London from Plexus Law, and a team of 12 in the Sydney office. Eight new partners joined in North America, based in Bermuda, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco, and Seattle, including a team of seven in New York.

Growth in Kennedys’ global footprint has also continued apace over the past 12 months, with new offices in Fort Lauderdale, US and Newcastle, UK added to its international network as well as moves to new premises in Paris, Dubai and Bermuda.
