Kennedys Manchester team relocates due to expansion

Kennedys has relocated its Manchester team to new premises in the city following further expansion in the team.

Kennedys opened in Manchester in October 2008 with a team of 12 and in October 2016 the team moved to larger premises in The Tootal buildings. Following recent expansion, the 127-strong team have now moved into new, larger premises in the Trinity, 16 John Dalton Street.

The new office space at almost 16,000 sq ft is spread over two floors and offers greater flexibility to accommodate staff in a post-lockdown working environment.

Nick Thomas, senior partner, Kennedys said of the move: “We’re thrilled to be seeing this development in our business in the North. We’ve had a lot of activity in the region recently with the opening of our new office in Leeds and team hires. Our growth strategy is driven  by client demand and we continue to look to see where our clients are going to need us  next and ensure we stay one step ahead.

The new office in Manchester is able to accommodate the growing team and deliver a flexible working style reflective of a new era of office use.

Claire Bushen, partner, Manchester office commented: “We are delighted to be moving into our new office in Manchester. As we start to come out of lockdown we’re certainly looking forward to spending more time with colleagues and clients in our office. Our new office is designed to give us great opportunities to work and collaborate together in the future. It will be a fantastic environment for our people to work in. We’ve already had  positive feedback from those of our colleagues who have already  been in the office.”

William Parry, senior property executive at Helical Plc, which owns Trinity said: “Despite the uncertainty the Covid 19 pandemic has created, it is still good to see companies such as Kennedys making important decisions regarding their office space during lockdown. Occupier demand remains for well-located, quality, Grade-A workspace like Trinity. The building has been remodelled to the highest standard, whilst retaining its heritage features and this aesthetic appeals to well-established professional businesses.”

This is the latest in a series of office openings and relocations which the firm has managed successfully during lockdowns over the past year which included openings in San FranciscoTel Aviv and Leeds and relocations in Melbourne and Hong Kong.

The new office opened on 12th April, and is located at 3rd and 4th Floors, Trinity, 16 John Dalton Street, Manchester, M2 6JP.
