Benjamin Rathelot

Benjamin is an Attorney at Law admitted before the Paris Bar (2023) and the New York State Bar (2022) and an associate in our Paris Office since 2022.

He holds a LL.M. degree from the University of California Los Angeles with a specialization in International and Comparative Legal Studies, a master’s degree in Private International Law and International Trade Law from the University Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne and a master’s degree in Business Law from the University Paris XI – Paris Saclay.

At Kennedys, Benjamin intervenes for leading (re)insurers and major policyholders in complex and international disputes before French courts and arbitral tribunals. His practice covers a large range of litigation and arbitration matters including, inter alia, (re)insurance disputes, transport (by road, air and sea), commercial disputes, political risks and trade credit, industrial risks, product and professional liability, and cyber risks.

He is fluent in both French and English.
