Josh is an associate at the firm’s Chicago office, where he handles both defense and insurance coverage litigation. Josh is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin state courts and federal courts in the Northern Districts of Illinois and Indiana, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Over the course of his career, Josh has amassed a wide-ranging track record of success in diverse areas of practice including construction negligence, premises liability, contractor and employer liability, civil rights litigation, transportation liability, breach of contract disputes, tortious interference with business relationships, breach of fiduciary duty, landlord-tenant disputes, and disputes under the Illinois Sales Representative Act. Never one to shy away from the most challenging legal and fact patterns, Josh has successfully tried cases to verdict in numerous federal and state courts and has successfully handled appeals before the Illinois First and Second District Courts of Appeals and the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Additionally, Josh has contributed to Kennedys’ 50 State Survey on the admissibility of extrinsic evidence in determining an insurer’s duty to defend.
