Israel association drives Kennedys’ EMEA expansion

We are pleased to announce that we have increased our presence in the EMEA region through an association with Israeli firm Zelichov, Ben-Dan & Co, with whom we have been working for over ten years.

An increased volume of cross-border and international referrals has led to the association with Zelichov, Ben-Dan & Co, who are based in Herzliya – within the district of Tel Aviv.

Since opening in 2005, Zelichov, Ben-Dan & Co. has become one of the leading defendant law firms in Israel for insurance and medical malpractice claims. The firm, comprising four partners and sixteen lawyers, act for a large number of global and domestic insurers, risk management companies, public and governmental companies, and healthcare providers. They specialise in construction and engineering, energy, machinery breakdown, motor, product liability, professional liability, medical malpractice and property damage.

Ben Aram, partner and head of our Israel desk, says: “Our association with trusted friends at Zelichov, Ben-Dan & Co enables us to provide our global clients with strong litigation and dispute resolution services in Israel, and focus on local as well as cross-border insurance coverage issues and claims defence work."

Expanding our international reach remains key to our strategy and this latest association brings more opportunities for our global network.

Zvika Zelichov, managing partner at Zelichov, Ben-Dan & Co, says: “I am delighted that we now have an association with Kennedys. We have noticed a steady increase in the number of international insurers actively involved in the Israeli insurance market and this new relationship will substantially grow the volume of Israel-related work for both firms in the international insurance market. We already work with a number of leading (re)insurers and we will now be able fully to tap into Kennedys’ expertise and global reach, providing our clients with additional cross-border advice and services. I look forward to working more closely with Kennedys and demonstrating to our clients, and the Israeli insurance market, the enhanced benefits of working with a global firm.”

This latest development brings our number of offices and associations in the EMEA region to 24.
