Benjamin is an associate in the Basking Ridge office, and is part of the firm’s coverage team.
During Benjamin’s time at Fordham University School of Law, he served as a captain and member of Fordham’s moot court board and held a staff position on Fordham Law School’s International Law Journal. Benjamin was also a member of Fordham’s Business and Law Association, Sports Law Forum, Consumer Law Advocate team, and Jewish Law Students Association.
Benjamin received his undergraduate degree in Government & Politics and History, with a minor in Law and Society from the University of Maryland College Park. While at the University of Maryland, Benjamin was a member of the University’s History Departmental Honors, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honors. Benjamin was also a member of the University’s Business Management and Organization Society, and held the position of Vice President of the Treasury and Recruitment for the History Undergraduate Association.
Prior to joining Kennedys, Benjamin served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Brian R. Martinotti, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey. During his internship, Benjamin shadowed Judge Martinotti on both civil and criminal matters. Benjamin conducted legal research, briefed, and analyzed a broad range of criminal and civil matters including multi-district litigations, insurance disputes, healthcare, construction and engineering, commercial disputes, and other personal injury matters.
Prior to joining Kennedys, Benjamin also spent time interning for Justice Ruth Pickholz of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Congressman Josh Gottheimer in the United States Congress, and the Embassy of Israel to the United States in Washington, DC.
