Kennedys’ KLAiM wins Insurance Day’s 'Technology Initiative of the Year' Award

We are delighted to announce that Kennedys’ virtual lawyer, KLAiM, has won the award for Technology Initiative of the Year at last night's prestigious Insurance Day, London Market Awards.

The award, sponsored by the non-profit association Acord, was collected by the head of our liability division Richard West, on behalf of the Kennedys innovations team who were represented on the night by Ian Davies, Jennifer Harris, Suzanne Liversidge, Adrian Walker, Greg Woods, Karim Derrick and Helen Snowball.

The awards ceremony, presented by popular BBC One TV host Alexander Armstrong, recognises initiatives that redefine the insurance industry’s competitive landscape and raises the bar for client expectations, rewarding innovation, process, business value and industry impact.

The now multi-award winning KLAiM is the first product of its kind and completely unique to the insurance market. The online service empowers our clients to settle insurance litigation, without the need to instruct a lawyer. The step-by-step ‘virtual’ lawyer takes clients through the early stages of litigation all the way through to settlement. By auto-populating content, KLAiM ensures clients’ claims teams follow standard procedures and create the required court documentation, without the usual legal cost. KLAiM is also being developed by Kennedys on 3 continents, creating a proven product for the global insurance market.
