Kennedys breaks through the £400m global revenue mark

We have reported 13% growth with a record revenue of £428m (USD 551m/AUD 848m/EUR 511m) for the financial year 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025 (FY25).

This marks the 11th consecutive year of growth at Kennedys, signalling further global expansion across our regions:

  • Latin America saw the most significant surge in percentage terms with an upturn of 27.1%, achieving revenue of almost £13m (USD 16m/AUD 25m/EUR 15m).
  • North America reported a 22% revenue increase, achieving revenue of almost £110m (USD 140m/AUD 216m/EUR 130m).
  • EMEA grew by 13.6%, APAC by 11.5% and the UK by 8.8%.

Contributing to our growth, Kennedys has led on landmark international cases including:

  • Representing (re)insurers in multi-billion dollar claims from major aviation lessors after Russian airlines failed to return 500 Western-leased aircraft due to UK/EU sanctions.
  • Acting in London and Australia on claims arising from the collapse of Greensill Capital.
  • Advising multiple insurers on PFAS-related liabilities, including coverage for USD 12bn+ settlements in the AFFF multi-district litigation in the US.
  • Representing World Rugby in defending concussion group actions by 350+ former players.

Further geographical expansion over the past financial year included the launch of our offices in Los Angeles and Seattle.

As a firm with a presence in almost 50 countries worldwide, we have embraced a refreshed strategy under the leadership of John Bruce, who assumed the role of Senior Partner in January 2025. This follows the tenure of Nick Thomas, who led the firm for 27 years as Senior Partner. Nick continues to contribute to the firm as a partner. Additional leadership appointments include Meg Catalano as Global Managing Partner, Eric Hiller as US Managing Partner, Ben Aram as UK Managing Partner, and Michael Hennessy as Managing Partner for Latin America and the Caribbean.
