Safine’s experience will dovetail with our leading insurance presence allowing us to now offer complete regulatory and compliance services from the Paris office to not only the French market, but also across Europe.

Alexis Valençon, co-founder and Managing Partner of Kennedys Paris office, says: “We are extremely excited to welcome Safine.

“Our team based here in Paris work closely with our network of offices which allows us to offer seamless services to clients throughout Europe and beyond. Safine’s experience will now allow us to develop and grow those services to ensure we are constantly meeting client demand and become a one-stop shop for our clients.”

Safine added: “The reputation of the team of partners in Kennedys’ Paris office, and their work, is excellent. There are many synergies between our counsel and I’m looking forward to becoming part of a firm with such an incredible presence in the insurance industry, from which I can grow my practice.”

Safine’s arrival coincides with the move into new premises, located at 37/39, Rue de la Bienfaisance, 75008, Paris.

Open since 2017, Kennedys’ Paris office has a long-established reputation as one of the region’s leading commercial litigation practices, particularly well-known for its expertise in reinsurance, liability and complex cross-border disputes.

Safine’s appointment follows another record year for Kennedys, which saw revenue increase by 11% in the year 2022/23, to £313million.

The firm was also named market leader in this year’s Gracechurch London Market Insurance Law Monitor, an independent survey of the London market’s view of insurance law firms.
