Kevin is the Joint Managing Partner in our Singapore office and a director at Legal Solutions LLC.
Kevin has close to 30 years of experience in dispute resolution and his practice focuses on commercial disputes, which includes litigation, arbitration and mediation. He regularly appears before all courts in Singapore including the High Court, the Appellate Division of the High Court as well as the Court of Appeal. He also acts as counsel in arbitrations under SIAC and ICC regimes as well as ad-hoc arbitrations. He also takes on appointments as arbitrator, both as sole arbitrator or as part of a panel.
More broadly, Kevin regularly advises clients in a wide range of commercial, insurance and corporate disputes ranging from the interpretation of insurance policies, shareholder disputes including investment related disputes, sale and purchase agreements, corporate insolvency matters involving fraud and tracing of assets, and construction related matters involving building owners and contractors on defects claims, Extension of Time and Delay claims and adjudications under the Security of Payments Act. He also regularly acts in other tortious claims such as defamation actions and negligence claims.
Kevin is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as well as a Specialist Mediator with the Singapore International Mediation Centre, a Senior Mediator of the Singapore Law Society Mediation Scheme and an Accredited Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. He has also been nominated by the Law Society of Singapore and appointed to the Singapore Medical Council’s Complaints Panel. Kevin was also appointed as an Assessor under Part 8C of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act by the Minister of National Development.

Acted for a prominent Singaporean in a high profile major high court action involving breach of contract of various well known local trade marks involving actions both in Singapore and Malaysia.

Acted in a shareholders’ dispute involving a private limited company in Singapore and successfully prosecuted the claim based on minority oppression.

Acted in a defamation action in Singapore where he represented several Members of Parliament in an action against a well-known politician.
