Katie is an associate in the Wilmington office. She concentrates her practice on corporate and commercial litigation, regularly representing directors and officers accused of breaching fiduciary duties. Katie also advises her clients on corporate governance and proper corporate hygiene. She handles advancement actions and books and records demands, along with claims for fraud, breach of contract, unjust enrichment and aiding & abetting. Katie is well-versed in the intricacies of the Delaware General Corporate Law and keeps up to date with its yearly changes.
Since her admittance to the Delaware bar in March 2015, Katie has appeared before the Delaware Superior Court, Delaware Chancery Court, Delaware Supreme Court and District Court for the State of Delaware, along with various Delaware administrative agencies including the Industrial Accident Board, Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board and the Insurance Commissioner Arbitration panel. She has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution and has successfully and cost-effectively resolved hundreds of cases on behalf of her clients.
