Benjamin Forrest

Benjamin is a Senior Associate at Kennedys in the Sydney office with six years’ experience as a practicing solicitor. He is admitted for practice in Australia, and has advised clients in multiple domestic and international jurisdictions.

Benjamin advises as both coverage and defence counsel across professional indemnity and financial lines matters for construction and design professionals (architects and engineers), accountants, financial advisors, technology professionals and financial institutions. He also advises insurers and reinsurers on coverage, defence and subrogated recoveries in ISR, CAR, Contract Works and DSU disputes in the construction, mining and public infrastructure sectors.

Benjamin handles matters ranging from micro-SME to large corporate and listed entities. He offers commerciality, pragmatism, and technical expertise to his clients. He has considerable experience advising on policy construction and other coverage issues such as aggregation, valid notification, and multi-layer programs.
