Steven Elliott

Steven is a senior associate based in Kennedys’ Sheffield office.

Steven is a Solicitor working in within the public sector and abuse team. He qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2012 and deals with multi-track litigation relating to allegations of historic sexual/physical/emotional abuse and neglect of children. Steven also acts for a number of local authorities dealing with motor, public and employers liability litigation.

In addition to managing multi-track litigation, Steven is involved in dealing with Applications for compensation through an Alternative Dispute Resolution Scheme. Steven has undertaken NAPAC training to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of childhood abuse.

Steven has presented a number of webinars covering topics such as Covid-19 and highway maintenance and has written articles regarding the Judicial College Guidelines, risks relating to E-Scooters, alternative dispute resolution and safeguarding in E-Sports.
