Katie is an associate in the Philadelphia office. She focuses her practice on representing clients in insurance litigation matters, including general liability defense and insurance coverage matters. Katie has experience representing clients in state court, including mediations and arbitrations, conducting written discovery and depositions, drafting and arguing motions, drafting appellate briefs, and trial preparation.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Katie defended clients in a variety of insurance litigation matters at another Philadelphia firm. In law school, Katie served as an Associate Editor of the Drexel Law Review and was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in her Litigation Drafting and Contracts courses. She also served as a teaching assistant for first-year contracts courses. Additionally, Katie was honored for her exceptional dedication to public service by being named the fourteenth recipient of the Carl “Tobey” Oxholm Summer Fellowship. She gained valuable experience through her internships with The City of Philadelphia City Solicitor’s Office, Duane Morris LLP, and as a faculty research fellow. As a faculty fellow, Katie researched diversity in the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s arbitrator pools. In connection with this research, Katie has been published in the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association Journal and co-authorized materials for the Practicing Law Institute.
