Work highlights
- Secured a dismissal on behalf of a restaurant in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. We served as defense counsel on behalf of the Clients defending against Dram Shop and Negligence claims following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. After a lengthy discovery period, we were able to obtain crucial evidence as well as testimony that demonstrated that no actions of the Clients caused nor contributed to the accident itself or Plaintiff’s claimed injuries and damages.
- Secured a dismissal with prejudice on behalf of a hospitality company in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. The court granted their preliminary objections for lack of personal jurisdiction, ruling that the hospitality company is a trade name and not a legal entity subject to suit - the case arose from an incident in which the plaintiff alleged he fell in a franchise hotel due to a dangerous condition, resulting in serious and permanent injuries.
- Jury finding of no factual cause for plaintiff's herniated disc diagnosed after motor vehicle accident despite neurotomy procedure (Philadelphia County).
- Directed verdict on behalf of client after one-week trial (Philadelphia County).
