David Drewe

David is a consultant based in Kennedys’ Newcastle. He qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1981.

David is part of the specialist liability team which is part of our public sector, abuse and specialist liability team which acts for a range of clients across the public, private and voluntary sectors, including health and social care, religious organisations and leisure providers.

David specialises in the defence of complex and sensitive claims, including stress, bullying and harassment cases, and claims arising out of particularly damaging data breaches. He has a longstanding interest in abuse cases having represented the NRHA in the Cleveland cases.  He also has a disease practice. David has been using mediation to settle particularly sensitive cases since the early 1990s.

David is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).

Qualifications:

• Qualified in England and Wales in 1981.
