Hilary is a partner in the firm’s New York office. She represents domestic and international insureds and insurers, high-net worth individuals, Fortune 500 companies, and product manufacturers and distributors in matters involving excess casualty, professional liability, premises liability, negligent security, property damage, products liability, employment and commercial contract litigation.
Hilary has expertise in construction matters involving commercial building owners, developers, general contractors and subcontractors in actions brought pursuant to New York Labor Law.
She also works with non-profit organizations, camps, hospitality companies and educational institutions to investigate and respond to bias, discrimination, harassment and sexual misconduct claims.
Hilary has experience at the trial and appellate levels, as well as various alternative dispute resolution forums.
She is active throughout the legal community, including speaking at legal conferences, client trainings and publishing. Hilary has received attribution for her contributions to a legal treatise and articles that are published in professional journals. She is also a member of the New York City and New York State Bar Associations and the Legal Advisory Council of the Sanctuary for Families.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University and is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, where she received academic and pro bono achievement awards and was an Editor of the Hofstra Law Review.
Hilary also contributed to the Claims inflation and personal injury claims: a global review report, published in June 2023.

Work highlights
- Obtained a defense verdict in Queens Supreme Court for a New York-based garage management company. The plaintiff claimed a snow/ice-related accident outside the garage led to severe injuries requiring surgery, with a pre-trial demand of $900,000.
