Cassandra is an Associate in Kennedys’ Healthcare and Insurance – Financial and Professional Lines teams based in the Melbourne Office.

She advises and represents a wide range of clients, including but not limited to insurers, doctors, hospitals, allied health professionals, property professionals, directors and officers and financial and legal professionals in both civil and criminal disputes.

Cassandra also has experience acting for local and London market insurers, in relation to personal injury, professional indemnity and public liability claims.

Work highlights

  • Advising insurers in relation to policy coverage, indemnity disputes and subrogated recoveries, including property and professional indemnity policies.
  • Acting on medical malpractice claims, investigating potential liability defences, managing and evaluating medical records and negotiating settlements.
  • Advising insurers in relation to the defence of representative proceedings, with over 1,000 registered group members.
