Rachael is a senior associate based in Kennedys’ London office.
Interpreting, negotiating and advising on complex construction contracts is her speciality, focusing on developers, funders, contractors, consultants and specialist subcontractors on various projects.
Rachael has demonstrated solid understanding of her clients needs, and delivers effective solutions in a manner which assists them in achieving their commercial goals, whilst minimising their legal risk exposure.
In light of the Building Safety Act 2022, Rachael has held a number of related training seminars for clients of the back of her extensive experience.
Whether it be due diligence in relation to the sale, purchase and leaseback of real estate assets, or drafting various types of JCT and NEC forms of building contracts in both the private and public sectors; Rachael ensures that her client’s needs are always at the forefront of her work.

- Advising on a multi-billion pound London regeneration scheme and drafting appointments to procure various construction services.
- Acting for a large developer and investor in drafting and negotiating fit-out project contracts for the refurbishment of various workspaces in London.
- Acting for a water company in negotiating the building contracts, alliance agreements and collateral warranties in relation to a major infrastructure project.
