Lewis McAuley-Jones is a lawyer and qualified mediator with experience in managing a range of claims for major airlines, general aviation companies, insurers and manufacturers. Lewis has experience handling claims concerning a variety of aircrafts, including balloons, gliders and drones.

Lewis represents airlines in respect of various types of claims, including personal injury, hull damage, subrogation, discrimination, denied boarding and baggage claims, and also works in conjunction with a network of foreign correspondent lawyers throughout Europe, North America, South America and Australasia. Lewis also advises on regulatory issues in the aviation industry.

Lewis also has in depth experience in relation to product liability claims, mass torts and recalls. He is a lawyer with management experience acting on global voluntary recalls, coordinating claims across multiple jurisdictions, including experience in successfully resolving claims by way of ADR.

Lewis is also a qualified mediator, accredited by the Civil Mediation Council.

He is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers, ABPI, ABHI, the Insurance and Reinsurance Legacy Association (IRLA),  and a member of Kennedys’ environmental committee.
