James joined Kennedys in November 2021 and is a senior associate in the London office. He has extensive experience having qualified in England and Wales in 2011 and advises on motor, public liability and employers’ liability claims for catastrophic injuries. He manages cases of the utmost severity including amputations, subtle and severe brain injuries, spinal, multiple severe orthopaedic injuries, severe psychiatric injury and complex regional pain syndrome.

James also has a particular specialism in exaggerated and fundamentally dishonest claims having worked for many years in counter fraud.

His personal caseload comprises of reserves up to £5 million and he assists partners on cases with reserves up to £20 million at any one time.

James regularly presents to insurer clients on a range of topics associated with complex claims.
