Jeremy Boeder is a partner in the Chicago office where he focuses his practice on counseling and representing clients in professional liability and disciplinary matters. Jeremy has a diverse practice as a counselor, trial attorney and appellate practitioner. He works closely with attorneys, insurance agents and brokers, architects and engineers and accountants in defending professional liability claims, evaluating and addressing risk management concerns, and responding to ethical grievances. Jeremy also assists lawyers and law firms in other matters, including fee disputes and lawyer transitions. He also represents clients involved in commercial disputes and general tort litigation, such as construction liability, product liability, premises liability and auto/trucking liability claims.
Jeremy is the current Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Professional Responsibility Committee and frequently writes and presents on legal ethics, legal malpractice, and professional responsibility topics.
Jeremy has been recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company in the areas of commercial litigation, professional malpractice defense and personal injury defense and was previously named an Illinois “Emerging Lawyer” in the same practice areas. He has also been selected as an Illinois “Super Lawyer” in professional liability defense and had previously been selected as a “Rising Star” for a number of years. In 2017, the American Society of Legal Advocates deemed him one of the top 40 litigation lawyers under the age of 40 in the State of Illinois.
