Eric is special counsel in the Basking Ridge office. He has significant experience representing insurers and their insureds including professionals - architects and engineers, medical professionals, attorneys and insurance professionals, and other businesses/individuals – construction companies, premises owners, product manufacturers, and automobile owners, lessors and operators, in the New Jersey and New York Courts.

Eric’s current practice focuses on general liability including defending contractors, premises owners and managers, and other companies and individuals in personal injury, property damage and other tort actions, and providing advice, representation and professional services in the associated contractual and insurance policy litigation.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Eric worked in both New York and New Jersey at two mid-sized, bi-state litigation firms. Eric started his career representing a large, international construction manager defending Labor Law claims arising from major construction projects in New York City. Eric continued his work in New York and then New Jersey in general insurance litigation, and then professional liability defense including representing architects and engineers in noteworthy cases of personal injury and construction defect, and medical professionals (nursing homes, home health aides and doctors).

While at Cardozo, Eric clerked for the Honorable Charles Ramos in the New York State Supreme Court, Commercial Division, and participated in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program led by Professor Barry Scheck. At Tufts, Eric was the Sole Intern to the President of the University, was Sports Editor of the Tufts Daily newspaper, studied abroad in London at City University, and was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity.
