Sarah FitzGerald

Sarah is a senior associate based in Kennedys Manchester Office. She qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2012.

Sarah specialises in all aspects of employment litigation defending clients across a broad spectrum of claims including unfair dismissal, breach of contract, discrimination and whistleblowing. Sarah has assisted clients in the civil courts to defend claims brought against them under the Equality Act 2010.

Sarah has expertise in dealing with large public sector employers with unionised workforces.

Sarah supports clients in both contentious  non-contentious employment matters including the drafting and review of  contractual documents and policies, dealing with staff grievances, performance management, changes to terms and conditions.

For individuals she deal with negotiating settlement agreements on her behalf.

Sarah is involved in providing regular employment law updates to both current and potential clients.

Sarah also supervises trainee solicitors at the Manchester office.
