Chris Stubbs

Chris leads the Kennedys investigations team. He has a wealth of technical knowledge and expertise in analytical and sophisticated data gathering techniques. Chris has worked in defendant law firms since 2003, joining Kennedys in 2011.

Chris actively looks at new technologies and developments in IT which assist in conceiving innovative counter fraud products and investigation solutions. He assists clients in strengthening fraud detection and investigation via enhancements with technology and analytical techniques. He leads on the development and future direction of Fraud Detector (formerly Ki), the Claims Screening and counter-fraud intelligence platform from Kennedys IQ.

Chris is an experienced analyst having undertaken large and complex investigations across motor, casualty, travel and professional indemnity insurance.

He is a regular speaker at Kennedys counter fraud events and provides training and support to clients. Chris also frequently contributes to Kennedys 'fundamentally honest' blog. He is a co-author of Kennedys’ Claims Handling Law and Practice Guide, the fourth edition of which was published in February 2021.
