Nichola is a senior associate in the public sector, abuse and specialist liability Team in London. She is a chartered legal executive with over 25 years’ experience.

Nichola specialises in defending claims brought against the public and care sectors with particular emphasis on abuse - be it physical, sexual, emotional, professional, recent or historic. She also defends claims against the police for wrongful arrest, malicious prosecution and misfeasance in public office. Her cases often include allegations under the Human Rights Act.

She is currently defending a number of group claims involving sexual abuse as well multi claimant claims arising from allegations of wrongful arrest during protests.

Nichola also regularly assists clients with inquests following a death alleged to have arisen from abuse or neglect.
