Gavin is the lead insurance partner for Kennedys in Scotland. He qualified in England in 2002, and in Scotland in 2004. Gavin has a broad commercial litigation practice with a particular focus on insurance related disputes.

Gavin has been recognised for many years for his ability to successfully defend claims against a wide-range of professionals, and has a particular specialism in construction claims.

Alongside a professional indemnity practice Gavin has extensive experience in advising on policy issues (pre-litigation and litigated), property damage claims and general commercial disputes.
