Shanna Dunne

Shanna is a Legal Director in the healthcare and life sciences team in Dublin, who specialises in defending medical negligence claims, catastrophic injury claims and product liability actions.

Shanna regularly advises medical practitioners and their indemnifiers on a variety of healthcare-related claims, and represents healthcare professionals before regulatory bodies.

She has particular expertise defending large scale portfolios of claims and advising fertility clinics on all healthcare legal issues, including claims and legislative reform.

Shanna is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers. She lectures on the postgraduate medical law and ethics course at University College of London, and is an author of the Chambers and Partners’ Medical Devices and Consumer Health Products 2021 Global Practice guides:
