Bhavesh Prajapati is an Associate in our Birmingham Employment Team. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2010.
He primarily advises corporate/commercial clients of all sizes on the complete range of employment law issues. On a daily basis, he is advising Managers within businesses on how to deal with disciplinary matters and grievances. He has experience with drafting and amending contracts of employment and policies and procedures.
Bhavesh has expertise managing and implementing projects with respect to redundancy and TUPE transfers. This experience was gained specifically in the retail and hospitality sectors.
He has particular expertise defending clients in the Employment Tribunal and has knowledge of dealing with unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, protected disclosure and discrimination claims. In the civil courts, he has assisted clients to defend claims brought against them under the Equality Act 2010.
For individuals, he regularly deals with negotiating terms of Settlement Agreement on their behalf.
Bhavesh keeps up to date with any changes in employment law that impact his clients and regularly presents to existing and prospective clients on legal updates and recent cases.
He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Birmingham Law Society.
