The programme provides personal and professional development opportunities including training, webinars and networking. Attendees learnt about the investigations that should be undertaken by claims handlers and solicitors alike from the first notification of loss right up to trial to ensure a successful outcome and a happy insured.
Introduction to arbitration
This session discussed: Why choose arbitration as a dispute resolution method?; Agreeing to arbitrate: putting the right clause; The arbitral procedure: from the start of a dispute to enforcement of award; Specific characteristics and challenges of particular jurisdictions.
Introduction to fraud
This session discussed: What is fraud?; How to identify the key indicators of fraud; Indicators shared across white collar crime, motor, property and casualty fraud?; Basic investigations into fraud.
Kennedys 2024 wrap up sessions
At the end of 2024, we ran a series that provided a wrap-up of Kennedys' key cases throughout our lines of business, including professional liability, crime and regulatory, fraud and product liability.
