We are delighted to host an arbitration seminar at our London office on Thursday 13 March 2025, where we will be joined by guest speaker and newly appointed Director General of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Kevin Nash.
Kevin recently joined the LCIA after 13 years as the Registrar of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), where he led the team in thousands of international cases under all versions of the SIAC and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.
Our Partners will engage Kevin in discussion covering issues such as:
- What sectors and regions are central to the LCIA’s future?
- What are the major challenges to the LCIA, and how can it react to competition from the numerous other arbitration centres?
- Are there relevant parallels and innovations from experience at the SIAC?
- Is there scope for further flexibility for small claims, while retaining the LCIA’s reputation for quality?
The discussion will be relevant to commercial, construction, energy, investor-state and shipping arbitrations.
