Kennedys' healthcare team are delighted to be hosting the sixth webinar of our annual healthcare seminar programme 2024, which will be held virtually on Wednesday 18 September.

Guest speaker: Dr Amir Hussain, General Practitioner (GP)

Dr Hussain has been an NHS full-time GP partner for more than 15 years in a large training practice in Birmingham. He obtained a foundation scholarship at the prestigious King Edwards School Birmingham and went on to University of Wales College of Medicine to obtain a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2003. He completed his GP training and obtained MRCGP in 2007 and has been working as a full-time GP since then.

Dr Hussain is an accredited GP trainer and responsible for training GP specialist trainees as well as Foundation Year 2 doctors. Within the practice, he is the lead for Care Quality Commission (CQC) and ensure the practice is run to the strictest guidelines and regulations. He has also provided expert opinion on more than 1000 alleged medical negligence cases predominantly for defence but also claimants.
