Guest speaker: Kamal Bedi, Deputy Director and Claims Management at NHS Resolution

Kamal joined NHS Resolution in 2014, having previously worked as a defendant clinical negligence solicitor for specialist national law firms, acting for a range of clients on advisory and litigation matters.

At NHS Resolution, as Deputy Director of Claims Kamal plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s approach to claims management. Her work has focused on improving outcomes for both patients and healthcare professionals by promoting early resolution, encouraging the use of mediation and alternative dispute resolution, and fostering collaboration across the wider health system.

Kamal has also contributed to key national initiatives, including the Early Notification Scheme and speaks regularly at legal and clinical forums on claims handling including how innovation can support a fairer, more effective and compassionate NHS.
