The second episode of the third series of Claims Apprentice, in association with Insurance Post, launched today and is now available to view below.
In this episode teams Build and Unite are challenged to devise a technical or procedural solution to enhance and/or improve the claimant’s customer journey. They then have to pitch it to representatives of managing general agent Pen Underwriting, who will judge the task.
Alongside Kennedys partner, and head of the firm’s marine practice, Christopher Dunn, who the six candidates will be aiming to impress, is a trusted team of advisers who have mentored the teams and will aide him in ultimately reaching a decision on this year’s winner. For this task, they are Partners Vittorio Cinque and Heidi Swales.
Vito and Heidi each draw the team that they will be tasked with mentoring, to help them shape their ideas and presentation content for the solutions they will then pitch to Thomas Matthewman and Matthew Hope, both Claims Managers from Pen Underwriting. Thomas and Matt will then decide which team has impressed them most, in coming up with an inventive customer-focused idea that demonstrates a clear understanding of the issues involved in a claim.
Which team will come away with a first win? Watch episode two to find out.
Claims Apprentice, which is designed to unearth, showcase and help young talent working in the claims market, was a new initiative in 2019 and, following the success of that inaugural series, and the follow-up in 2020, is back again this year. Kennedys is very pleased to be supporting this initiative once again.
