Georgina Wu
Profile
Georgina is a special counsel in Sydney with 20 years’ experience as a commercial litigator.
She specialises in complex disputes and litigation across all sectors with particular expertise in trade credit insurance, commercial disputes, the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 and insolvency law.
Georgina has appeared in courts across all Australian jurisdictions and regularly appears in the Supreme and Federal Courts. She has represented major insurers in complex Federal Court litigations and is also experienced appearing in mothership proceedings for both the plaintiff and defendant.
Earlier in her career, Georgina spent two years working in Shanghai as a corporate and commercial lawyer having acted for ANZ and Qantas.
Georgina doesn’t just deliver legal advice to clients she also delivers solutions that are commercially viable.
