Jamie is an associate in the New York office. Her practice focuses on insurance defense litigation. Jamie has experience handling matters involving automotive liability, employer’s liability, property damage and premises liability.
Prior to joining Kennedys, Jamie worked as an associate attorney at an insurance defense firm in New York where she represented both municipalities and private sector clients in the areas of general liability, premises liability, employer’s liability and automotive liability.
Prior to her last firm, Jamie worked as a prosecutor with the Kings County District Attorney’s office for over fifteen years. Jamie worked in many divisions while at the District Attorney’s office including over six years in the Homicide Bureau. Jamie has handled hundreds of cases during her tenure with the District Attorney’s office and received over ten jury verdicts during her time in the Homicide Bureau. She was recognized as employee of the year in 2015.
Jamie coached Fordham University at Lincoln Center’s undergraduate mock trial team. She has volunteered as a Judge at both undergraduate and law school trial competitions. While in law school, Jamie served on the boards of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. She also ran the school’s internal negotiation competition and competed in mock trial competitions throughout the country.
