Alex is an associate in the New York office. His practice focuses on insurance defense litigation. He is involved in all aspects of pre-trial litigation and trial preparation, with a particular focus in case development, legal and medical research, fact investigation, motion support, and suit evaluation. His practice focuses on defending matters involving construction accident, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and property damage claims.
Prior to joining Kennedys, Alex defended private, governmental, and quasi-governmental clients at a regional defense firm in New York City. There, his practice focused on general and premises liability, medical malpractice, and municipal liability. He began his legal career serving as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department where he represented the City its agencies, and employees in complex, high-exposure tort actions. In 2020, he was awarded a Division Chief Award.
Alex received his undergraduate degree and Masters of Public Administration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he was a Board of Governors Scholar. He attended Howard University School of Law where he served as Captain of the Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy Moot Court Team, a research assistant, and received two CALI Awards. Additionally, he was named a Stevens Fellow by the John Paul Stevens Foundation while serving as a Law Clerk for the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.
