Michael is part of Kennedys’ global cyber and data risk team and he is based in the UK. Michael has a broad range of experience in cyber and data law, with a focus on global cyber incident response. Having completed a secondment in the cyber insurance industry during a period of dramatic growth, Michael also brings a breadth of experience in cyber claims and coverage. Given the global nature of cyber claims, Michael works closely with international colleagues to advise on the GDPR and the cross-border implications of multi-jurisdictional cyber incidents.

Michael often acts as breach coach following large and complex cyber incidents. He has successfully guided a range of clients, from SMEs to FTSE100 companies, through a range of cyber incidents as well as providing detailed privacy advice. Michael's experience also extends to advising on regulatory investigations flowing from cyber incidents and providing commercially astute cybersecurity advice to clients.
