Katherine Totty

Katherine Totty has worked at Kennedys for 10 years and has been a partner since 2020. She has worked in counter fraud for over 20 years and now specialises in complex and first party fraud.

Her experience includes high value EL/PL claims, property (commercial and household) and first party claims such as accident & health and financial protection.

Katherine works with clients to help with fraud detection and strategy, to defend and deter fraudulent claims. She has worked with the Police to obtain criminal sanctions and led on the successful defence of a large-scale claims farming problem for a client, resulting in multi-million pound savings and zero payment outcomes on 98% of the claims.
