Erica is a legal director based in the London employment team.
Erica provides the full range of employment law services including assisting employers in the defence of employment tribunal proceedings which include complex discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract claims. In addition to carrying out contentious work, Erica regularly provides practical, commercial advice to clients on day-to-day issues such as managing absences, business reorganisations and industrial action.
Erica also provides training to clients, keeping them up-to-date on changes in employment law and advising how to practically deal with such developments in their businesses.
Whilst Erica acts for a wide range of clients, she has particular experience in the transport and insurance sectors.
Erica is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and Women in Transport.
- Successfully acting for the Respondent in proceedings in the Employment Appeal Tribunal in the widely reported case of A Limited v Z, which is now a key case on the issue of knowledge in disability discrimination claims.
- Acting for a leading international creative agency in the defence of claims for unfair dismissal and breach of contract worth in excess of £1 million brought by a former director.
