Ben Williams

Ben is a senior associate in the tax disputes and investigations practice. He joined Kennedys from the HMRC Solicitor’s Office where he acted on some of HMRC’s most complex and high value litigation. Prior to that, Ben practised in commercial disputes in Sydney and London.

Having specialised in tax disputes, Ben acts for UK and international clients on contentious and non-contentious tax matters. He advises clients in respect of their tax disputes with HMRC and assists them with navigating global tax risks.

Ben has experience across the range of direct and indirect tax disputes and has particular expertise in HMRC’s criminal and civil investigative and enforcement powers including those under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Qualifications:

• Qualified in England and Wales in 2018.
• Qualified in New South Wales, Australia, in 2010.
