Giacomo is an associate of Dispute Resolution department at the Kennedys' Peru office. Qualified in Peru in 2019, obtained his law degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
He has focused on litigation before Peru's authorities in judicial proceedings (civil, commercial, administrative and constitutional law), and also dispute resolution through alternative methods such as negotiation and conciliation.
In addition, he has been involved in national and international arbitrations related mainly to energy and construction sectors, on some of the industry’s most technical and high-value cases.
During the last 8 years Giacomo has gathered the necessary experience to provide his clients with counsel on litigious matters, with the skills to find solutions to complex matters.
Work highlights
- He was involved in a constitutional action and in a civil claim, for the protection of the interests of a high profile company in the telecoms sector.
- He has participated in arbitrations (national and international) related to the energy and construction sector, protecting the interests of concessionary companies against acts of Peruvian state entities which breached contractual terms.
