Alejandra Vicuña Deza

Alejandra specializes in (re)insurance, aviation and maritime law, commercial, corporate and healthcare matters.

She assists local and foreign insurance companies in the design of insurance products, establishment and registration of (re)insurance companies and brokers. She also handles regulatory, compliance and contractual issues and provides legal advice on insurance matters to companies in the insurance sector and various industries.

Alejandra has assisted in handling insurance claims related to aviation, maritime, liability and health, through coverage analysis, indemnity procedures, damage assessment, among others.

In relation to aviation, Alejandra assists in civil aviation matters. She has worked assisting in regulatory and contractual matters on behalf of airlines operating in Peru and those interested in carrying out activities in Peru; and, has assisted local companies and financing entities in the leasing, exchange, replacement and registration of aircraft. She has also handled claims for aviation accidents and incidents, including damages to passengers, crew and cargo.

In relation to corporate and commercial matters, Alejandra has assisted local and foreign companies in the incorporation and registration in Peru, due diligence operations, structuring of trusts, purchase and sale of shares, capital increase and design and execution of agreements according to the industries of each company.
