Strong growth prompts Melbourne move to larger premises

Following two years of solid growth, Kennedys in Australia is pleased to announce that we have moved to new premises in Melbourne Central Tower.

Kennedys opened an office in Melbourne in August 2017, having been based in Sydney since 2006. Since then the Melbourne office has tripled in size to more than 30 staff, and enjoyed revenue growth of 35% in the last financial year alone.

Investing in talent

Foundation Melbourne partner, casualty specialist Michael Kavanagh and his team have been joined by a large healthcare team led by partners Cindy Tucker and John Petts, a specialist employment practice led by partner Chris Molnar, and most recently ex Piper Alderman litigation partner Jane Kupsch in a growing commercial practice.

Kennedys’ Australian managing partner Matt Andrews said: “We’ve been candid about our ambitions to grow in Melbourne and we are very pleased with our achievements in the first two years.”
