We have successfully completed our move in Newcastle, with the team now located in one of the city’s most prominent office buildings.
Wellbar Central is situated on Gallowgate at the heart of Newcastle City Centre. The 10-story building has undergone a £1m energy efficiency-focused renovation, with upgrades to the reception, WCs, lift lobbies, in addition to the installation of new shower facilities and an electric Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heating and cooling system.
Commenting on the move, partner Andrea Ward said: “Having established our Newcastle office in May 2023 with a team of six, in this short time we have grown to thirteen colleagues and counting, as we actively recruit to further expand our teams.

We are excited to move into this modern and dynamic space, with strong environmental credentials, to better serve our clients and accommodate future growth”.
Our Newcastle office serves key local and international clients, with expert teams specialising in specialist liability, medical malpractice, and casualty. Last year, the team welcomed medical malpractice partner Dawn McIntosh.
Comprising of 118,000 sq. ft of Grade A office accommodation, Wellbar Central is also home to Sky, Turnitin, Eversheds Sutherland and Irwin Mitchell Solicitors.
