Q&A

What type of cases do you work on?

My practice is focused on civil and coverage litigation mostly.  I also do a bit of maritime litigation.

What do you find most challenging about your job?

Like any job, law can be stressful.  You are under deadlines and pressure to perform and give your clients the best representation possible. Luckily, our staff are amazing and make my life easier.

What is most interesting about your job?

Everything. I love learning something new every day.  I always tell my friends how I am so grateful for a job that keeps requires me to constantly being thinking and expanding. Life at Kennedys is definitely not monotonous.

What advice would you give someone interested in going into law?

To focus on the amazing aspects of being a lawyer. I think a lot of people come to resent the billable hours, but that cannot cloud what an exciting profession this is. Any job is going to have aspects you don’t like, but practice law is going to teach you interesting things and perhaps (at Kennedys) take you around the world for depositions or cases.
