The professions Michael defends include architects, quantity surveyors and designers.

Michael has worked on a number of high value and complex claims, from advising the UK’s largest agricultural insurer in relation to a variety of issues arising from the 2002 foot and mouth outbreak, to defending London Market insurers’ policyholder (a main contractor) from a £10M claim for alleged faulty design/installation of a rooftop oil tank.

Michael also leads a team of solicitors dealing with mid-high value property disputes, including subrogated recoveries.

He has authored a number of publications, including articles in Insurance Day and, in recent years, created a variety of media (webinars and online tutorials) concerning the changes brought about by the Insurance Act 2015.
