Martin is a partner based in our London office. He specialises in professional negligence and dispute resolution, and has extensive mediation and trial experience.
Martin acts for some of the market’s largest insurers on policy issues and in defending claims against lawyers, accountants, insolvency practitioners and brokers. He has particular expertise in defending claims against solicitors arising out of negligence and dishonesty in a wide range of practice areas including residential and commercial property, personal injury, probate, commercial transactions and employment disputes.
He has acted on a number of high-value and complex matters, ranging from investigating complex fraudulent transactions on behalf of indemnity insurers, and advising insurers on their regulatory obligations under the Financial Conduct Authority, to representing accountants on high-value claims arising from failed tax mitigation schemes.
He is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL), and regularly contributes to Kennedys’ Professions and Financial Lines Brief.
