Sandy Cho

Sandy is a Partner in the Healthcare Team of the Hong Kong office and is qualified in Hong Kong (2001). She specialises in areas covering clinical negligence claims, disciplinary investigations, clinical related criminal proceedings, medical professional insurance related matters, inquests, Data Privacy Commissioner investigations, Consumer Council investigations, Equal Opportunity Commissioner investigations, healthcare regulatory matters and mediation. Major clients include the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, Medical Protection, medical professional indemnity insurers, doctors, private hospitals, allied health professionals, dentists, and nurses.

Sandy Cho (and Christine Tsang) stand out. Both are mature lawyers who understand what has to be done in the case forensically, in managing client’s expectations, and in dealing professionally with insurers so that they are on board. Both are engaged in the areas in which I am briefed by the firm.

Private practitioner

The team [Sandy Cho and Christine Tsang] is top-notch, with high quality legal analysis and preparation. One can always count on insightful discussions on the legal, factual or medical issues at hand. They are a hard working team and they train their juniors well. Nothing to dislike about working with them. Their service matches the best I have dealt with in Hong Kong, including international firms.
