Alexis est le ‘Managing Partner’ et co-fondateur de notre bureau de Paris, et siège au ‘Governance Group’ de Kennedys.
Il est spécialisé dans les contentieux et arbitrages complexes. Il est particulièrement actif en matière d’assurance et réassurance, responsabilité (professionnelle, des produits défectueux et médicale), lignes financières, construction, risque industriel, fraude, risque informatique (« cyber risk ») et protection des données (dont le RGPD 2016/679). Il assiste par ailleurs ses clients dans des expertises judiciaires complexes, ainsi que dans l’organisation de leurs activités en France et la rédaction de leurs polices d'assurance.
Il conseille notamment des sociétés d'assurance et de réassurance françaises et étrangères de premier plan, des courtiers, des grands assurés et des industriels.
Il enseigne la procédure civile (appliquée au contentieux des assurances) à l'Institut des Assurances de Paris Dauphine et à la Faculté de Droit du Mans, et l’arbitrage en (ré)assurance à la Faculté de Droit de Montpellier.
Il est régulièrement cité et recommandé dans les principales publications professionnelles (voir « Market Recognition»).
Il intervient fréquemment dans des conférences et colloques sur des problématiques de droit des assurances, de réassurance et de contentieux (judiciaire et arbitral). Il est, par ailleurs, co-auteur du Lamy Assurances et du chapitre français de plusieurs ouvrages de référence internationaux de droit des assurance/réassurance et de contentieux (notamment The Insurance & Reinsurance Law Review, The Class Action Law Review, The FARAD Book on Private Life Insurance, etc.).
Il est membre de l'Association Internationale du Droit des Assurances (AIDA), de l'Association pour le Management des Risques et Assurances de l'Entreprise (AMRAE), de l’Association des Professionnels de la Réassurance En France (APREF), de l'International Bar Association (IBA) et de l’Insurance & Reinsurance Legacy Association (IRLA).
